Oellerich Sub Division

Diverse mixture of people in middle class sub division. The community has it's problems with crime and violence, but there is fear and intimidation factors at play in community. Plus many of the people of which I have talked with about starting this Neighborhood Watch like the idea, but feel that there want be alot of support from Law Enforcement Community. There was an attempt to start one years ago but it fell through. I have promised the people that it will turn out different this time. Have seen a lack from Sheriff's Dept. as they were suppose to get our group scheduled for it's 1st meeting approximately three month's ago, but as yet have done so. This Watch will have 11 blocks to it. I am starting off with 3 and will be working the other 8 in as we get the Neighborhood Watch more organized. Want this to be a success for the people of this community, they deserve it. Will hopefully have walking patrols, bicycle patrols, and vehicular patrols.
